AUSTRALIAN FEDERAL ELECTION
The date for the 2019 Australian federal election has not yet been announced.
The Australian Embassy in Belgrade will be offering in person voting for the 2019 Australian federal election. Members of the public must provide photo ID in order to gain access to the Embassy. ID is not required to vote.
For information on enrolling and voting while overseas, please visit the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) website at www.aec.gov.au/overseas.
If you wish to vote in the federal election you must be enrolled. To enroll, check or update your enrolment details visit www.aec.gov.au.
DIRECT AID PROGRAM (DAP)
The Direct Aid Program (DAP) application period for the 2018-2019 funding round is now CLOSED.
Applicants will be contacted in due course. We thank everyone for their interest in DAP.
HOME AFFAIRS EUROPE SERVICE CENTRE PHONE NUMBERS ARE NO LONGER IN OPERATION
The Australian Government Department of Home Affairs Europe Service Centre phone numbers are no longer in operation. Home Affairs have a new Global Service Centre (GSC) providing longer opening hours and shorter wait times. For more information visit Home Affairs website or The Australian High Commission websites.
Payments for Passport and Notary Services (Serbia, North Macedonia and Montenegro)
All passport and notarial fees are payable only by debit or credit card at the Embassy.
Cards that are accepted by the embassy include the Dina Card, Visa, Visa electron, MasterCard and Maestro. All payments will be processed in Serbian Dinars (RSD).
For those not in Serbia, a Credit Card Authorisation Form is attached (FORM), as well as word form (FORM).
For customers ouside Serbia, there is a possibility to make a bank transfer in EUR. Please get in touch with the Embassy or Consular Office in Skopje if you wish to use this option.
Appointments for consular and passport services must be made via our online booking system. Appointments cannot be made by telephone or email.
